The Funkitty Egg-Cersizer stimulates our cat’s minds and bodies by presenting them with a snack time or meal time challenge: push, pull, rock and roll the blue egg to coax it into releasing bits of kibbles and/or treats. I followed the instructions and first fed the kitties from the bottom half of the Egg-Cersizer for a couple of days, giving them an opportunity to become familiar with the toy. The next step is to fill the egg with treats, kibble or a combo of the two; screw on the top; and set the difficulty level by choosing how many holes to leave open.
I chose to go easy on the fellows and left all 3 holes open before filling it with their favorite treats. The moment Buddha realized the crazy egg-thing gave out treats like they were beads at Mardi Gras, he was all over it! Braveheart was a silent observer until he couldn’t stand it anymore and made a move to horn in on Buddha’s action. A few seconds of dramatic hissing ensued before Brave prevailed and won a turn with the treat-giving gizmo.The cats had a ball with the Egg-Cersizer and I really like the feature that allows me to keep things interesting by adjusting the difficulty level from time to time.
