On Tuesday, Katie Holmes gave her Instagram followers a peek at her new cat, Eleanor. She introduced the latest addition to her family with a post on the social media platform. The actor laid down on a rug to pose beside the feline. The fluffy white and gray kitty looked adorable with her point coloration coat pattern.

In the images, Eleanor can be seen playing with Katie Holmes’ hair, which she had tied up in a loose bun. However, in the last photo, the cat can be seen fleeing the scene after pulling at a strand of her hair while the actor looks on.

According to PEOPLE, the Instagram post comes soon after Holmes celebrated her daughter Suri’s graduation. The 18-year-old recently graduated from high school, sharing the big moment with her mom. Holmes has previously mentioned she would love for Suri to participate in her projects. She told Glamour, “…it’s this safe, beautiful, creative space. So it comes out of love for me to include someone who I love dearly…It was very meaningful to me to have her there, because she’s my heart.”

The actor is set to return to Broadway with her new role in “Our Town.” She last appeared in “Dead Accounts” in 2012 and will be returning after more than a decade. In “Our Town,” Holmes will be playing the role of Mrs. Webb. She will star alongside Richard Thomas, Zoey Deutch, Michelle Wilson, and Ephraim Sykes.
