They didn’t think she would live.
A disfigured kitten infested with mites was found on the streets of Istanbul, Turkey. Nobody wanted to even look at her because she looked so horrible. She was starving, in pain, dying, and nobody wanted to even look at her let alone help her.
A 7 year old girl found the little kitten and brought the kitten home. Her family took the kitten to an animal hospital. The kittens deformities were not her only problem. She was infested with mites. The vet and the little girl’s family set out to save the kittens life.
The vets and medical staff did everything they could think of to give the kitten her face back. What happened was nothing short of a miracle.
They named her Gülümser, which means “she who always smiles.”
